HubSpot First-Time Setup Guide

Once you receive the email to Join HubSpot, follow these steps to get logged in and connect your Gmail account.

1. Log In & Confirm Your Profile

  • Open the “Welcome to HubSpot” email
  • Click Join your team on HubSpot
  • Click Continue with Email

  • Type your First and Last name.

  • Create your password and then select Create account

 

  • Let’s secure your account – Click Next

  • How would you like to secure your account? Click on SMS to enter a one-time code sent via text message.

 

  • Download the PDF of the backup codes for your two-factor authentication and then click Next.

  • There is no need to add a secondary security method, click Continue to HubSpot.

  • Select the CRM platform based on your role.

 

 

Nicely done! You have successfully setup your HubSpot Account You can skip the recommended setup steps on the screen - everything you need has already been completed.

 

2. Connect Your Email

Gmail users:

  • In HubSpot, in the top toolbar, Go to Settings  Under Your Preferences, click General and then select the Email tab

  • Select Connect personal email to set up your IMS Email account

 

  • *REVISED*
    • Checkmark the Turn on inbox automation.
      • If you have already connected your GMail, then go to:
        • Settings
        • User Preferences
        • Email Tab
        • Select the Inbox Automation slider to On.
    • Do not follow this: DO NOT CHECK the Turn on inbox automation. Just click “Connect your inbox.

  • Type in your Integrated Medical Systems email address and click Next.

 

  • Click Connect to Gmail

  • Click Continue

  • Choose your Integrated Medical Systems email address to connect your Gmail account.

 

  • Select All, and then Continue. Your Gmail should be connected to your HubSpot Account.

3. Install the HubSpot Chrome Extension


 

  • Click Install Chrome Extension
  • Select Add to Chrome

  • When you are in your Gmail, it will most likely inform you of any GDPR updates Go ahead and say Ok, got it
  • Then Turn on the HubSpot Sales extension
